Jasminum Filigree Wrap Ring in Sterling Silver with Pearl

A filigree ring shaped through the form of Jasminum sambac — Arabian jasmine, recognised in Indonesia as Puspa Bangsa, a flower associated with purity, continuity, and ceremonial presence.

Formed in sterling silver, the ring takes the shape of an open, wrapping band that follows the movement of a growing branch rather than a fixed circular form. The structure remains asymmetrical, carrying a sense of flow that shifts across the hand.

Two jasmine flowers are formed in fine filigree along the band, each constructed strand by strand. At the centre of each bloom, a fine silver wire is heat-shaped into a filament-like form with a small anther-like tip, referencing the internal structure of a jasmine flower.

Along the band, freshwater pearls in two sizes are set in sequence. Their rounded form recalls jasmine buds before opening, introducing a softer rhythm within the structure — where movement is held through gradual formation.

The use of silver brings clarity to the composition, allowing the form to read through light and reflection. The pearls mark quiet points within this flow, holding the structure in a state of unfolding.

Together, the flowers and pearls form a continuous composition — moving between branch, bloom, and bud, without a fixed beginning or end.
