The Garden Of Recollection
The Garden of Recollection is a jewellery collection inspired by Edwin Charmain’s memory of his family’s long-lost garden, where jasmine, ixora, and sculptural forms created by his grandfather shaped a rhythm of flora and structure. These remembered forms became the foundation for translating personal memory into heirloom jewellery.
Each piece interprets the garden through layered filigree and wirework, capturing floral clusters, architectural curves, and the interplay between space, rhythm, and form. The designs explore how natural and constructed elements can coexist, transforming botanical and sculptural motifs into wearable expressions of memory and reflection.
Influenced by pattern systems reminiscent of Indonesia’s Sekar Jagad, the collection reinterprets tradition rather than replicating it, balancing symbolic reference with contemporary structural clarity.
Handcrafted strand by strand in silver filigree, each piece reflects meticulous craft and enduring design. Layered compositions and rhythmic geometry ensure every item is both visually distinct and conceptually unified, offering heirloom jewellery that carries story, intention, and continuity.
