Collection: Astra Nova

Astra Nova is a jewellery collection inspired by celestial navigation, myth, and the search for direction in uncertain times. Its name — meaning “new stars” — reflects a quiet yearning to reorient, to begin again, and to move through darkness guided by inner light.

The collection draws on the spirit of ancestral fishermen from Pekalongan, who once navigated by starlight. Echoing the memory hidden in the northern coast waters, Astra Nova embraces the cyclical nature of making and undoing — like waves that carry both fish and forgotten stories told through Pekalongan Coastal Batik.

Born from silver once burdened with hope and the remnants of quiet trials, the collection transforms these fragments into a new constellation — each piece a quiet talisman of rebirth. Hand-forged from silver, these stars shimmer with imperfection, carrying the imprint of missteps and the echo of paths once abandoned. No two are alike. Like myths shaped by time, each form is singular — a meditation on second chances and luminous becoming.
